The 2013-2014 season is now over and the time has come for doing any conclusions.
As we all know, the year has been diffi cult in France for most of us on account of the unpredictable weather conditions. In the USA, the season has proved to be good in terms of both the quality and the volumes of grapes harvested. Southern Europe is still a victim of the crisis and the lack of liquidities amongst winegrowers kept things to a low level. The Southern Hemisphere has lived up to our expectations. The results, positive in terms of volumes and encouraging in terms of local trials, have put us well above competition as we realised during our short visit to Sacramento (an essential event for exchanging information on the season).
